The Group
African Emerging Ventures (AEV) is an investment company based in the Seychelles. AEV is actively investing, through its first fund, in innovative and highly skilled entrepreneurs and management teams based in Botswana.
AEV has established a unique project development and incubation platform focusing on technology driven businesses and technology transfer opportunities. AEV provides venture capital and project development support to primarily, green-field, first and second round venture opportunities.
What do we do?
AEV is a SADC based team focussed on renewable energy and clean technology projects. The team can provide, along with equity and debt financing, expertise in project start ups, expansions and general management support.

Every member of our board of directors has more than 30 years in building and managing African businesses at senior management and board level. Each one brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our organisation.
Bryan
Bryan, a polymer technologist by background, has been based in African since 1980. He has spent the last 30 years based in Botswana developing new manufacturing businesses and promoting inward investment.
Maria
Maria, Human Capital and Business Development specialist, has more than 20 years experience in Africa in mentoring and developing bluechip banking executives and outsourcing operations. A strong hands-on leader.
